Instructions to Authors
1. Oxford Economic Papers is a general journal. We accept contributions in economic theory, applied economics, econometrics, economic development, economic history, and the history of economic thought. We occasionally publish survey articles in addition to original papers. Books are not reviewed, but substantial review articles will be considered.2. Submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished contributions. They must not be concurrently on offer to any other publication.
3. Three copies of the typescript should be submitted to:

As the journal uses double-blind refereeing the name of the author should not appear on the typescript. A covering letter should accompany the submission indicating an address for correspondence (one author only). The typescript must be double-spaced and typed on one side of the page only. Please contact the Oxford Economic Papers office at oep{at}economics.ox.ac.uk for a detailed style sheet. .
4. An abstract of strictly 100 words or less must accompany the paper.
5. Diagrams should be submitted in their final form, either as glossy artwork or a good-quality laser print.
6. Final versions of papers accepted for publication should be submitted as a typescript and on disk. Details of the hardware and software used to produce the disk should be given (e.g. Word 6 for Windows).
7. All correspondence dealing with submissions should be sent to the above address. Correspondence regarding subscriptions and copyright should be addressed to the publishers.
